MPG therapy of neurological patients III

Abstract
|
|
|
Since January to June 1990, some of the patients whose EEG were more than moderately abnormal were subjected to the MPG therapy. The patients were divided in to 5 groups.
A - Control
B -Treated with 100V 8Hz for 15 minutes.
C -Treated with 100V 8Hz for 10 minutes.
D-Treated with 100V 8Hz for 10 minutes daily for 3 days. E-Treated with 100V 8Hz for 10 minutes during EEG.
The following results were obtained.
1-The group BCD showed about 50% improvement with no significant differences between each other.
2-The A group showed no improvement, instead worsening in 25%.
3-The E group showed improving effect of the MPG on EEG in 56%.
4-It is a subject of further study to extend the therapy duration for more than 1 week or 1 month.
